Has the headstone restoration stopped completely?

Hi Ken,

The work hasn't stopped but possibly may have slowed down a bit given that its winter and the ground will have been frozen at times.  The gardeners are in at the moment and have got rid of loads of ivy, trimmed trees and cleared branches etc., that were lying all over.

Gosh, thanks Cancan.  Somebody is blushing out here in Malta  :-[.

Just wanted to add that without the hard work of the team members who turn out in all weathers to work in the Cemetery, there would be nothing to write about.

So very proud to be a member of a wonderful team and, all being well, looking forward to joining you in the Cemetery for a couple of Sundays in May.

I read your article, Luzzu, yesterday in the newsagents.  Really good piece, especially in view of the fact it wasn't edited at all!   Well done!!

Also Rootschat got a mention a few pages further on in the same magazine - described as "a popular family history forum" or words to that effect - fame x two!   ;D

Hi All,
Well done Luzzu! A fabulous article about the project, although I noticed the absence of photos of certain people who shall remain nameless (one in particular), hopefully it will get even more people, especially more volunteers for this very worthwhile project.
