Fantastic news Cancan.  Well done.  Seems like a really good plan to do a trial run as a taster for the main project next year.

Wonderful !!!                                                                                                                                                            There is a letter in tonight`s M/C Evening News re the wonderful job done at Philip`s Park Cem. It has got the Green Flag award.
It seems Mr. Jim Birch, Infrastructure Manager  at Blakely Cem. has been most helpful.Blakely now hold most plans , up to the closure of the little office at Philips park the ones for that Cem were there but after the closure I`m sure they will have been moved. They were wonderful, each grave drawn and properly plotted and numbered and rowed. All hand done in the 1800`s.I wonder if there are any for M/C General there too.
The time is right!!                                                                                                                          Seeing the cardiologist on Oct 14th so I` hope to know more about what I can and must not do. BUT I can write I`m sure.
Count me in please, I`ll do what I can .
Well done.                  Viktoria.

Sunday 17th October Trial Run! M/C General Cem Volunteers Needed!!!
« Reply #58 on: Monday 27 September 10 21:41 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

How about a trial run:             :o Sunday 17th October, 10am-10.30am ??? :o

We are impatient to get going!!!!  ;)

Wellies more than likely needed! Camera, SD card, Batteries!!

We have a rough idea of how to do this, but would like a trial run to see if it works?
A couple of hours or so? :-\

As mentioned about photographing, SD card will have photo's 'moved' to Laptop on the day, meeting the requirements of the conditions for consent of proposal!

I'm really hoping most who volunteered can make it,  :o hopefully with a lot done on the day we can begin the work of mapping and transcribing!!

The main event is more than likely going to take place next year!!
When there is better weather & conditions!
We are hoping for a big push for promoting the event  (Newspapers&TV) and more Volunteers!!

Please, Please add you name again if you can make it on the 17th!!! ;D

Cancan :D

17th OK for me  :D

Getting there for 10 am may be a little difficult though!
I love public transport, but its not at its best on a Sunday morning  ::) looking more like 11.30 at the moment...

I'll see what I can do
