I would be most grateful for some help with finding any information about Cullen College, Perranporth, Cornwall
The Newell family, part of my matermal line, all lived in & around he Bermondsey area of London. Imagine my surprise when I found the mother, Bessie Newell together with her unmarried sister Laura Harriet Minchin, & her son Harold William Newell, according to the 1911 census, living in Perrenporth, Cornwall. None of the Newell family had any connection with Cornwall.
Harold William, born Mar ¼ 1888 Hackney, is stated to be 23 years of age & a "student Cullen College"
I have tried various sites on the internet for info, with no success beyond finding there is or was a College Road in Perranporth so I would welcome any info as to just what this college offered.
