A 'blip' in my Argyle research

Hello

I thought I had all that was necessary on my Argyles... but out of the blue... a contact has added a.n.other Thomas to my list... the thing is if he is a relation then there is an awful lot of information and photos of his descendants... that would be great if I could confirm they are connected.

SO with your previous help (thankyou  ;D ;))  I have My Thomas Argyle -born 1796 Bulkington and can follow him through the census returns until his death. Which I have the Cert for..
However I had his children down as per the Census information and Sarah his daughter is my direct line......
Now I have been told he had another son Thomas born 1827.in Hinckley as was Sarah.. Which is pre registration  so no BC but I wondered if there were any Parish registers ... I have looked on FindMyPast plus others to no avail..
His parents then are Thomas Argyle born 1796 mother Mary A (nee Jarram)  born 1797 Hinckley...

ps This Thomas was aged 16 and working as a Taylors apprentice in 1841  so isnt with the family.  HO 107/601/4

1835.
July. 26th.

James. Born. 22nd. April 1834.
John. Born. 22nd. June. 1828.
THOMAS. ..( No birth date given ) Bapt. 26th.1835.
William. Born. 18th. March. 1832.

So. ....Seems they changed their Faith ?

My Records have the following:

Mary A  1825
JOHN 1829c
Elijah 1837 died 1845

possible Thomas 1827

so there are a couple of matches... the others maybe died between censi  will check

My 3x Great Grandfather is Thomas Argyle
I have him as son of Thomas and Mary.
My theory is that he is not listed on the 1841 census at home - but rather at work as he is aprentice tailor.
The years and dates fit as it is the only Argyle household in Hinckley.

Okay then
heres one
Another piece of evidence I have for this is that (1827) Thomas' son Elijah (1850) was born in Bulkington.
So that gave it a bit more credibility.

And another

I was wondering if you had any children before Thomas (1827).
As they got married in 1819 it would seem odd to wait 8 years before their first child.
Even though I was born 15 years after my parents were married and I'm an only one.  ;D

thats great nearly there... we are related   in some way cos my Elijah is from Bulkington... it is the same family  and I think you have been in touch with my daughter on Ancestry... ;) lovely jubly ;D  we may sort these out once and for all between us..
