hi xin do you have any info on a Mary Argyle b abt 1832 from Desford Leicestershire she married John Statham b 1815 ;)

Hi

I recommend that you try and get a copy of that baptism record.  I am not sure if the Leicester Records Office holds them although they are held at Hinckley Library on film. 

From memory the Methodist records for Hinckley from that date were very useful listing mothers maiden name and her parents name i.e "James the son of Thomas Smith and Ann his wife the daughter of John and Elizabeth Shaw of Hinckley."  That could clinch it for you.
