Hi there,   yes please Newnham Hampshire, near Nateley Scures.  I need some clues to Joseph Cocks parents births, so trying to get ideas from his possible siblings....but I think from the lack of response, maybe he did not have any siblings???  Does anyone know of a marriage in Newnham or surrounding area for a John Cock and a Jane??

Thank you all for reading.

There are several baptisms in the Newnham register where the parents are John & Jane Cock:

Ann 3 June 1753
John  26 May 1755
Elizabeth 30 May 1757
Edward  29 Mar 1760
Mary 17 Jan 1762
Mark 28 Jan 1770
James 19 Jun 1774

I think you may have to look earlier than 1740 for John's baptism.  He was the parish clerk in Newnham and was buried there 4 April 1778 aged 53.  I don't have access to earlier dates.
