Texada Island, BC: phone directory, maybe?

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have any access to residential information for Texada Island for 1969? Would it be in the Powell River white pages? Would there be some sort of city/town directory, like there are for the big cities? And .... would there be access to that?

I have information from an obituary on a relative living in Texada Island in 1969 but I'm sure there's a typo in the spelling. The surname is typed as HUYYOR and I just don't believe that's correct. I don't think that's really a name; I've googled it and come up with nothing. The first name is Diane and that's correct, but the phone listing could be under the initial G.

Any advice for me?

Good idea! Since the info I want is over 40 years ago, that just didn't occur to me....but of course it would be a great way to see anything even close
