Thanks Trish. In my excitement I missed the Lancs OPC site. I didn't know of this site beforehand so I've learnt something useful for future reference.
I have thought for some time that my Henry was quite unreliable.
Last night I found the WW1 service record for Joseph Henry who died in 1915. He had been living with people called Drury for several years and didn't know where his sister, Jane was living. His parents were both deceased by all accounts and the Drury's were not only his landlords but in place of his next of kin. What a sad tale.
