On a different forum I was reading posts about setting up a genealogy website, BD mentioned this site, I came over for a nosey and within 15 minutes found mention of one of my name interests! ;D

I might just be staying ;)

Googled for someone in my tree and Rootschat came up - have been here ever since!  It is an amazing site.

Hello All,
Like some other RC'ers, came vie Genereunited. Got some advice, had a look around, still going round, and round, can't get off, (don't want to). The only problem I have found is , keep finding other Boards, and Threads, my own research has suffered. Being on the other side of the Irish Sea, not all things are as easy as in the mainland.
Glad to get help & glad to give help, keep up the good work.

hi,
I found rootschat purely by chance. I was on GR looking for a link, this guy suggested I come in here.  Well I would just like to say it's the best piece of advice I have been given in a long time. Now i'm hooked!!  my hubby has even gone and bought me a laptop and we've gone wireless!!!

cheers

I was on a message board where they were saying that people on here weren't nice. I had a look anyway  - found that everyone was very very nice and stayed

Hope you're enjoying it.  Now, I wonder who it is that thinks we aren't very nice?  ???
