A friend from another forum gave me the info on Rootschat. I haven't used it much as yet, but hope to get to talk to members in the near future. My friend has helped me a lot in finding my husband's family history but there is still a lot more to find out. I thought when I paid subscription to one of the web sites that that was it...but now they want more for 'looking'.
Hello Lookinak75,
Welcome to Rootschat. I can only assume you mean Genesre*****d. The other pay sites all allow you to look at records, how many is dependent on how you have paid. And don't be fooled into thinking that you can only get info from the paid sites; freemd, freecen, freereg, and familysearch are all good free sites that are handy to use.
