I can't remember how I   found my way  to Roots Chat.  But I have been wandering around it for  a while now....

Haven't  had  any results to my ancestory posts yet, though...
But, who knows, someday someone might just  wander in and  be surprised to see that there is someone  out there with the same  ancestors..
Might be shock to them  !! :o  :o   :o   :o   :o

LMAO!

Put another post on each one (call it refresh or something) so that they show up again in the 'unread posts' list.  Ther's so much stuff on RC that I think things just get buried sometimes

The best Genealogy site as people are able to help within minutes
Genealogy has given me help for early retirement as it absorbs the mind after along time of teaching

Finding a puzzle and being an" detective ", solving mysteries from a bygone era and the thrill of meeting 2nd,3rd 4th cousins from all over the globe

I cannot remember how I found rootschat (probably searching my Halstead,Pickup,Biddle Everett, surnames on the internet )
but I am glad I did!!!
THANK YOU to all who have helped my story

Mine was blue

It must have been a very popular style.  You're the 3rd person so far to have had one like it.   :D :D

I think mine was probably beigey-brown with dark brown collar and pocket tops, but it was a very long time ago and the memory is not what it was  :D

Linda

Next question - did you have the wellies and beret??

[font=Verdana]Hi  Linda!
I think I could have had the beret..   Had wellies, but was never  allowed  to wear  them with my 'best' blue coat..     :D
Those were the days  when we had a good Sunday coat and an everyday coat, with which we could wear our wellies...

lol.

I haven't got a clue how I found rootschat - more luck than judegent, more accident than luck! Endless searching for help in starting some serious searching led me here - and I am really pleased I found you all.  :D

I had a coat something like that too - I remember velvet topped pockets!
