Found purely by accident on a Google search looking for photographic restoration. Now a regular user for anything family history. Everyone is so helpful.

Found it trying to find parish information. Love the way it's divided into counties and it seems to be fairly busy. I'm a bit of local history enthusiast as well as a family historian, so have already been able to give some info to a couple of users.

I found out about it from a friend, in another forum I visit, and here she goes by Bagpuss_Janet :D.  I'm very glad she recommended it!

I googled my great great great grandfather's name and someone mentioned his wife's name(my great great great grandmother) in a chat room here, so I was curious. And here I am.

Hi all rootschatters.     Cant remember exactly how I found Rootschat.   Think I just Googled family history forum.  Glad I found it anyway.  Hooked on it  now. ;D

Hi, I found this site whilst trolling through a maze of Irish ancestry sites. Saw the reference and clicked on it, how fortunate was that. I've not quite gotten used to the site yet but it is very interesting  and will keep me occupied for many hours.
