The beeb was closing down over Christmas and someone suggested Rootschat to avoid withdrawal symptoms. So I went over to have a look and loved what I saw!!

A great site, wonderful helpful people & good fun.

Hello there  ;D

Well I found Rootschat completely by Accident last Wednesday !! I was googling, got sent here and havent been away since !!!  (ask my poor husband lol)

I can honestly say that within a week I have found out more than in the past couple of  months and purely by the kindness and willingness of the people here to help others, and I hope that I too will be able to help others search.

Great Site !!!

I googled a name and ended up here.  I can tell it's going to be an addiction and I hope I can offer help as well as ask for it.

Thanks for having me.

Hello,

I found rootschat via a recommendation on the Your Family Tree Magazine web forum.

I had a problem posting a new topic in a forum, and was made to feel very welcome in the chat room. :)

A great website! :)

Hello, focus!  And a big, warm Rootschat welcome to you!

You'll find a home here amongst the 40,000 members (not all of whom are active at once, thankfully - as least as far as keeping the site speedy, is concerned!)

Your Family Tree is a great magazine, and it's forum seems to share (and achieve) the same aspirations as Rootschat, so it's nice to see you with a foot in both.  Quite a few YFT members also post here at Rootschat, and vice versa.

cheers

Paul
