I am researching the Newbold family of Corley. I have in one of my trees an Amos Newbold whom I assume is related to the Newbolds of Corley. Amos's death was reported by the son-in-law of Henry Newbold, whom we assumed was Amos's brother. Henry, who would have been the brother of Elizabeth, moved to Northumberland along with Amos. I have records and details of the Newbolds once they are in the northeast, but not prior to their appearance there.
I am now attempting to work backwards to their origin in Corley.
Other than Elizabeth, would you happen to have any information on her siblings - specifically Amos, if indeed that was his name and he was her sibling? I cannot find Amos existing before his marriage to Hannah Hawkins in 1836.
Do you have a source for further information on Elizabeth's family?
