Thank you Cardiff ;D

I wonder then if Ebenezer was one of the younger kids then and his mother and father married 7years before he was born.

1871 census gives a grandson Edward Jones ( b 1864 ) and grandaughter Elizabeth Jones ( b 1867 ).
Ebenezer and Martha still there , as are children Robert, Thomas , Margaret , Anne and Martha .

Hi, I am Colin Dugan from Australia and I had a great aunty Ellen Dugan married an Ebenezer Jones at Yankalilla in South Australia during 1877. Thomas Jones born in 1816 and his wife Janet Powell born in 1822 arrived in Australia from Monmouthshire, Wales with 3 children and continued to produce more children. Ebenezer born 1854 (obviously a junior version of your Ebenezer) was the 4th child which was the first Australian born child. I know the names of all the children and I know my relative married Ebenezer but it stops there in a dead end.  Good luck,
                 Colin.

Hello
I don't know what I just googled but I landed on this page and saw the names of my family members!  I am Ebenezer's great great grand daughter.  Griffith was the only one who came to the United States as a printer's apprentice.  Are you related to this group of Joneses?

This is what I found about my family when I went to the archives in Caernarfon.  I found the Joneses I was looking for right before the archives closed.  They lived on 17 Uxbridge St.  I went to see that house but the house was no longer there because of a road.  Also their printing shop had burned down.  If I had had more time, I am sure I would have run into one of my relatives in the streets! (and maybe I did)

1861 Census
