Hi Julie.....Looks like both Richard & Edward are brothers to Robert..All together on the 1841 in Prescot with father Jacob.

Not sure if it's of any help, searched 1851 for Jacob with no sign, but there is a death recorded West Derby Q3 1849 for a Jacob Dyson. Wonder if this is the father..?
Might  give you an idea if the whole family moved there and maybe his late wife's name..?

thanks again for trying the 1851,,,i will have a look at the death,i have found a marriage,,jacob dyson/ellen berry,farnworth,prescot 1787,,,dont think it's right for my jacob,,but possibly his parents?
