In Hagar's 1851 Directory Richard, Thomas and John Errington, Brass Founders, were at Garden Street, Bishopwearmouth.
In the 1858 Post Office Directory, Thomas Errington, (Brass Founder, Coppersmith, Brazier, Plumber & Gasfitter, Safety Lamp & Compass Maker, & Patent Windlass Manufacturer)  Bishopwearmouth Panns, this Brass Foundry was on Bridge Crescent next to the Rowland Burdon Arms P.H. Also at 15 Garden Street, Garden Street was between Sunderland Street and Numbers Garth.
Thomas Errington, Brassfounder, Coppersmith etc. was also at Ayres Quay
Thomas Errington lived at Camden Street, Low Southwick. Richard Errington lived at Southwick Lodge, Ayres Quay.
