I would imagine this one would be Long Melford - which is just a hop and a skip away from Lavenham 

Both villages were wealthy towns at the time of your research - they were known as 'wool towns'.  Back then we had a great many sheep in Suffolk, now we are the bread basket of England.

Holy Trinity at Long Melford and St Peter & St Paul at Lavenham are 'wool churches', built with money from the rich merchants.  They are both amazing parish churches.
