Entries from Compton Bishop parish registers show:

bap 25 Dec 1843 Henry Day son of Simon and Mary of Cross, butcher
bap 25 Dec 1846 Sarah Jane dau of Simon and Mary of Cross, butcher
bap 9 May 1848 Louis son of Simon Henry and Mary of Cross, butcher
bap 9 Dec 1849 Clara Ann dau of Simon and Mary of Cross, butcher
bap 15 Oct 1854 geiorge son of simon and Mary of Cross, butcher
bap 28 Dec 1851 Simon Henry son of Simon Henry and Mary of Cross, butcher
bur 24 Feb 1856 Simon Henry aged 4
bur 20 Jul 1871 Simon aged 85

earlier entries show:

bap 19 Aug 1810 Sarah dau of Simon and Sarah

In Axbridge (neighbouring parish) are the following:

bap 7 Nov 1841 Lucy dau of Simon and Mary, cropper

bap 20 Aug 1815 Samuel son of Simon and Sarah
and                      Harriet dau of Simon and Sarah

I haven't seen any baptism records for a Simon son of Simon and Sarah biut it does seem likely that one could be found in neighbouring parishes.  Simon is a rare name in this area.
All inhabitants of Axbridge, Somerset.
