Having driven through Borough Green I do not remember seeing any cinemas/picture houses there nor any buildings which could have been so at any time.

The cinema was built in 1912 by Mr. H. Gilbert. It had a gas engine driving a generator. It was called the Electric Palace.

There is a mention of the Rex cinema in Borough Green here http://www.bygonekent.org.uk/article/final-curtain  I remember the building, the cinema closed in 1964, and I visited it later in the late 70s when it was a necktie store/warehouse. There are houses on the site now.
