 Thanks Sandy - both Daniel and Eliza died in ipswich Queensland so I hope they went of their own accord...

and thanks Alan - Can you confirm that Daniel was born in Hagbourne?  My late brother whose work i am following up had him born in Horton but i am not convinced...

      He is not on the parish records for Hagbourne,Didcot or South Moreton.

      I will try the parish records for North Moreton and Cholsey later to night or tomorrow morning. I am going to try Cholsey but i have been told the Wheeler from Cholsey have no links to our Wheeler

     William Wheeler on the 1881 census was living in Blewbury
      on the 1891 census William Wheeler was living at Blewbury Barn
      London Road Blewbury
     
     On the 1801 census William Wheeler was living at Lower End
     Aston Upthrope

   I have found a Daniel Wheeler on Ancestry

   Daniel Wheeler born 1800 in Buckinghanshire
married in Berkshire and died in (look like) Queensland
parents Daniel Wheeler and Elizabeth Lawrence

Also
     Daniel Wheeler born 1803 in Berkshire married in Berkshire
Died in Queensland
Parents Daniel Wheeler and Martha Knight

   Also found a Daniel Wheeler born 1801 Berkshire died in Queensland
parents Daniel Wheeler and Martha Brown

   Will see what i can find out. I have set up a board on another website that i belong to

 Eliza Wheeler nee Essex  b 1803
                                     d 1871 Queensland

    It looks like some of Daniel and Eliza children when with them
May Hicks Wheeler married Thomas Jones 1864 Queensland
Hannah Wheeler married James Savage have not got a date yet but she died 1914 Queensland

    Eliza Essex may be the daughter of William and Hannah Essex they have other children bapt in Hagbourne in 1790 and early 1800 but no Eliza found

born about 1803 Berkshire England daughter of William and Hannah 'Esseck'

     Daniel Wheeler died 20/02/1879 Ipswich Queensland born about 1802 berkshire England son of Daniel Wheeler and Martha Brown
   
      But that date of death is on a worldconnect tree for another Daniel Wheeler

      Jane Wheeler married Richard Smith 1859 Queensland
      Lucy Wheeler married George Nutley 1867 Ipswich Queensland


      I am going to my craft class but tonight will have another look for Daniel and his family
