I see Florence and son John on New York Passenger List

Name: Florence Lea. Born about 1899  Martiepool  (Should read Hartlepool) Aged 29 years
Port of Departure: Londonderry to New York arriving 2 March 1928 on SS Cameronia.
John Alfred Lea Aged 5 years Born Hammond. Indiana.  American Citzen is travelling with her.
She had been to her brother-in-law - Mr John Lea. Coleraine. County Derry. Florence had been in the USA 1920 - 1927. Husband Mr Claude Lea. 52 Locust Street. Hammond. Indiana.
5 foot 3 ins. Fair Complexion with brown hair, hazel eyes and no distinguishing marks.
Little John was 3 foot 10 ins Fair Complexion, fair hair and blue eyes and no distingushing marks.  ;)

Thanks Florence,I'm on the trail of a Florence Garnett born in Durham in 1898 the daughter of John and Hannah Garnett.I haven't found brother John for Claude as yet.

Claude shows as married on that 1920 passenger list and it names his wife Florence Lee living at 6 Edenderry Gardens. Belfast but I can't seem to find her going out to USA at the moment.  ???

This William Lea was married to Mary Jacquelyn Cole Lea.  The father of William Lea was William S Lea Sr. and the Mother was Elizabeth Maxwell.

N.B. Just incase this turns out to be a possibility the William in reply 1-
was married to Lillian Steckmeister and she died in 1959. If that was him in 1930 then it would indicate he was married twice.

The link below is for the Public Library in Jefferson. Alabama which has an Ask The Librarian link (under Services).  Would it be worth an e-mail to see if you could get any further information re the 1974 death of William Lea.
I can also see a death for a Mary C Lea born 1919 died 2008 in Birmingham. Jefferson. Alabama (if she were the correct one it would make her alot younger than William)  ??? So an Obituary may help out if one can be found  ???
