Aubrey McGill of Indiana

My  request is for a former teacher of mine in the 1950's. Mr McGill was a teacher exchange in my old Tylorstown Junior School and Mr Aubrey Mc Gill of Indiana state came as a teacher exc hange for a year.

 I was born in 1943 and my age would have been near 10 or 11. Mr McGill, I believe transformed my path in education. He was a smartly dressed man and maybe he was in his 30's ,but i can only guess this. I would think he would now be dead as I am nearly 67. It's a very long shot and there is some information then please answer.

The Social Security Death Index (available for free on www.rootsweb.com and www.familysearch.org) has an Aubrey McGill born 15 Aug. 1914 and died 21 Feb. 1997.  Last residence was Pekin, Washington Co., Indiana, and his Social Security number was issued in Indiana before 1951.  There are two other Aubrey McGills, but neither has any Indiana connection mentioned.

Thank you both for your help. It looks like I have tracked him down but sadly he is dead.
