Incidentally .... Kate MARTIN (dau of George) married Joseph TAYLOR (son of Charles) 1917 at Aubourn ... I wonder if some wires have become crossed in the telling of the story

I should have said, I found this marriage on the LDS Pilot website  ... I've just noticed, it gives the ages  -

Close to that age, and with father Charles, there was one in Metheringham and one in Dunholme.

The Dunholme Joseph is the correct one! Albert had also said that Joseph had sisters called Lydia and Frances and brothers Herbert and Natt/Nutt. These names all fit in with this family!! Thank you so much for all your help today, couldn't have done it without you!
