Dear seanmac,
I wonder if you can find out some info. for me regarding these two police officers.  My Uncle Patrick Mason, born 1891,  was convicted of larceny in 1907.  He was sentenced to a month in prison.  Subsequently he was KIA on the Somme (RIR) in July 1916.
The RIC officers involved were Edward West - Sergt. and Patrick Driscoll - Constable and their areas would be Clogheen and Clonmel (Tipperary).  It would be good to put additional information upon this brave man's history.  Your time would be much appreciated.

Dear seanmac,

a sincere "thank you" for the interesting information in the  history of my Uncle Paddy.  This period of his early life belied his later incredible bravery with the RIR.
