Thornton Le Moors baptism 12 June 1853 Esther or Martha Dixon..
Many years ago I made extracts from this film and I have Esther Dixon baptised 12 June 1853... but there is no birth for Esther and other researchers have Martha Dixon baptised 12 June 1853..
Would some kind person check this for me whenever in Chester Archives
I could have made a mistake but would like confirmation

Thank you HOWMUCH.
My extracts here are very detailed but do not include a Martha Dickson or Dixon baptised on that date... only Esther...I must therefore have made the simple mistake of copying a nearby name in error.
I have never found any other reference to Esther so away she goes..
An old mistake resolved.

Martha Dixon/Dickson (born 1853, Elton) married John Hodkinson at St. Mary's, Whitegate on 22 Jul 1872. They had 10 children, born between 1872 and 1892. Do you need any further information on this family?

I was having a "senior moment". Martha married James Hodkinson/Hodgkinson, not John!!
