FURNESS - Aycliffe/Gateshead?
« on: Thursday 19 August 10 09:31 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have hit a brick wall in the research and really hope someone can help out

John FURNES born c1732 married Ann Shutt in 1761 at St Cuthberts Darlington.  His marriage info suggests he was born (or came from?) Aycliffe, so far I cannot varify this, trying to find his parents &/or his siblings and really really stuck

I have tried the pilot search on IGI and the ONLY John Furness (Furnice) in the durham area for the year came up as born in Gateshead??

please help - tearing hair out here!
