Pictures of Blakenhall
« on: Thursday 19 August 10 09:13 BST (UK) »
Howdy all,

I am trying my darndest to find ANYTHING photo-wise of Blakenhall, Wolverhampton, Where my Joneses lived. (and a lot of other folk also) from
1848 to 1911 and beyond, but big fat nothing is my result. It seems to me that Blakenhall doesnt even rate a mention in the usual pictorial ephemera of W/hampton. Why is it so?? - I just want some piccies of the housing `n`stuff, pls?

David in AUS.    8) ??? 8)
Jones / Williams / Birch from N.Wales and Wolverhampton,..Musson / Wightman / Howard /  from Leicestershire and London
Connelly / Ord from Ireland and London

Try google Images.  There are some there.
I'm not young enough to know everything.

Have a look at this link David

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,476673.0.html

When you get to the Wolverhampton pics, just insert Blakenhall in front of Wolverhampton in the search box. The first two pages are mainly about Blakenhall flats so go straight to page three.
