Hi,

Boston Cemetery may be Moorgate Cemetery which is next to Boston Park in Rotherham.

I think Chemist Lane was in the Thornhill area of Rotherham.  There used to be an Old Holland Place near by although I'm guessing Holland Street is probably a different place.

Hi Bellababy,

There is a Castle Avenue in existence today on the Canklow housing estate - Boston Park/Moorgate Cemetery overlooks this.

There is also a Boston Castle Grove which actually leads to the Cemetery.

I've spent hours and hours and hours in that Cemetery although unfortunately have no plans to return in the near future.  If ever you get the opportunity to visit, I would recommend it - it is a fine example of a Victorian Cemetery.  A few photos I've take are:-

Best Wishes,

Craig

They were husband and wife and died within a short time of each other ?  How can we get round the problem of the file size of the pics ?? Is there anything i can do ?

Hi Bellababy

Have not given up. I am going to local studies in Rotherham on Tuesday to see if I can find other two.

Will try somehow to reduce photos to a size which can be attached.

Will be in touch after Tuesday

AJ

Just a suggestion....but....you could always exchange email addresses via PM and arrange to have the full size images sent that way.
