May Elizabeth Busby - COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 18 August 10 19:20 BST (UK) »
Thomas Henry Clements (1888-1917), my Great Uncle, married May Elizabeth Busby in 1914. Unfortunately Thomas was killed in WWI. I believe they had a daughter, Mabel Eleanor, who was born 1915.
I have no information other than that and would dearly love to contact someone to help fill in a lot of the blanks.

There is a baptism record for a Thomas Henry Clements in 1886, Paddington but you have him as born in 1888. So could the one in 1886 be correct or not. I'll post you the details if you want them.

The Lambeth 1888 birth is correct as that is where his siblings were born.

Thanks all for info.

Hi

I know quite a bit about May Elizabeth Busby - she was my great grandmother, Mabel was my paternal grandmother.

I'd love to know more about how you are related to Thomas Henry Clements please. And I hope you still logon to RootsChat. It will be 100 years since Thomas was killed at sea. He is buried in Savona, Italy. You may already have this information by now but even if you do it would be great to know more from you.
