There is no Florence Kingsbury birth in Somerset so it's possible/probable that Reginald was not born there either

You need the marriage cert

Florence Kingsbury was born in Chilton Polden, Somerset according to the 1911 census...I'm thinking that perhaps Reginald didn't come from the Somerset area...I will order the marriage certificate. Thanks all :)

That's definitely correct! I was told that she was called Edith but the 1911 census said florence so I thought my source got confused as her mum is called Edith too.

Reginald Groves was born Reginald Patches/Patch...he was illegitimate and went on to live with and become a Groves..
