why do people put something on then not reply?
« on: Sunday 15 August 10 17:36 BST (UK) »
Hi
Ive had really good help on Rootschat.
Some things have taken a while to resolve but with the good people on here, this has come about.
Why, then do some people put replies, to an ancient post, and have not read what has been written on the past 2-3 pages.
??

I think because sometimes, we browse the posts ... and add a response  to the last post..of that post. as we feel it is relevant..

and sometimes people can be so interested in the subject itself that they don't even notice the date of the last reply :)

Hi

If you are talking about people adding to your old posts you can prevent that by changing the title to completed and/or locking it.  However, you never know they may come up with new information.
