Also a John CRUST baptised in Aldington on the same day (4 Jan 1823), but no father given, Charlotte CRUST as the mother, so Robert and Charlotte marry and on the same day Charlotte's son is baptised, but either Robert is not the father or he doesn't want to be named.

Thomas Dray b1801 m Phoebe Crust.
He was a son of James Dray 1761-1818 and Mary Sidon 1763-1847.

Here is what I have on the Dray family from in and around Ruckinge Kent.
Thomas Dray b 1696 m Margaret Court.
A Son James Dray 1727-1780 m Elizabeth Gailer b 1729.
A son of theirs James Dray 1761-1818 m Mary Sidon 1763-1847.
They had James Dray b 1787 m Charlotte Coveney .
 They had a son John Dray 1817-1900 m Eliza Elvey 1819-1875 this coulpe upped sticks and came to Australia.
One of their huge family was Loisa Dray who married a convict Mitchell. Louisa is my gggrand mother. So the family goes on in Australi.
The American branch would be interesting.

just read it ...it is Crust in Amerca, probably some Drays too still working on them!
If anyone has a Dray or two I am interested.
