Wedding Cake 1899 restore please

The cake in this request is the wedding cake of my wife's grandmother
I wish to include in her family history
Would SKS please fix this undoubtably mutilated copy

Wonder what those columns would have been made of...porcelain? Cause I'm pretty sure they hadn't invented plastic yet :D
