Urey family
« on: Sunday 03 April 05 10:53 BST (UK) »
Isabel Urey is somehow related to Francis W. Urey, born Down 1800.  All I know is that Isabel married Joseph Bell and had a daughter Nancy Bell in County Armagh. Francis W. Urey and Nancy Bell both emigrated to the US.  I am trying to find out anything I can about Isabel Urey and Francis W. Urey. Thanks

Do you have parents for your Francis and Isabel UREY?   I have a John UREY born about 1800 in Co. Down, Northern ireland but I do not know who his parents were.   Most of the family lived around Ardbrin, in the Banbridge area of County Down.   It is just possible that my John is a brother of your Francis and Isabel as those names are regularly used in my UREY family too.   Look forward to hearing from you - perhaps we have data to share.   Elizabeth, Western Australia

Elizabeth,
You may already have this but there are wills listed in the PRONI Calendar Of Wills for a John Urey of Ardbrin who died 1868 and for Elizabeth, died 1889. See http://applications.proni.gov.uk/DCAL_PRONI_WillsCalendar/WillsSearchResults.aspx
