Hi Val,

Still working away on the tree but as i am sure that you you Irish ancestry is difficult at best, all that i have on my Taggart tree as far as Ireland is concerned is John Taggart Married to Agnes Christie no birth or marriage dates,
Children

John born 1832
Elizabeth Carnochan 1834
Margaret 1840 Married in Ballymena to William Blane and moved to Scotland
Mary Jane 1843 d 1843
Mary Jane 1845
Ellen 1846 married to Joseph Reid 1866 Connor
and William  1852 (my 2nd Great Grandfather) married to Jane Johnston in Cambusnethan Scotland.
All of the children above were born in Gallanagh, Grange of Shilvodan.

John and Agnes are correct as far as William is concerned as i have their names on the Marriage document , the other children that i have, have been taken from familysearch.org (old one can`t find them on the new one as yet)

William and Janes Children are
John 1874
Agnes 1877
Isabella 1878
Margaret 1881
David 1884
Jane 1885
Mary 1888
William 1890

all born in Cambusnethan, Scotland

Hope this helps both of us

Regards

William

Hi Val,
Was wondering if you have any information about the Shannon family you mentioned.  I know there was a Hugh MacShannon buried in Old Ballynure Cemetery and that the next generation dropped the "Mac" - thanks -

Margaret Married William Blaine in Ballymena, County Antrim, 12 Jul 1872, she did move to Scotland as she died in West Benhar 23 Dec 1896, 2 children maybe more Margaret Carswell Blaine born 15 Dec` 1877 in Shotts and the other i have no first name for and was born in Antrim,Ireland.

Ellen married to Joseph Reid 13 Nov` 1866 Presbyterian Church in Connor i have no children as yet.

All the children of John  Taggart and Agnes Christie were born in Gallanagh grange of Shilvodan Co Antim Ireland (according to family search i have no other verification.)
