Has anyone come across Walter H Livingston (b 1821) & Margaret Fraser (1833) ... looking for any data, marriage??? Emigrated to New Brunswick, Canada abt. 186? He may have been druggist/physician. Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi and welcome
The IGI has a submitted record for a baptism of Walter Hamilton Livingston, 15 Apr 1821 (born 22 March), Kilsyth
Parents - Robert Livingston and Margaret Hamilton.
I've not checked on Scotlands People though and it will need checking.

Hi again
I don't seem to find him on any of the early censuses - are you sure they emigrated in the 1860s and married in Scotland?
The IGI lists the following submitted birth/baptisms for children of Robert Livingston and Margaret Hamilton:
1803 - William
1805 - John
1808/9 - Martin Wilson
1811 - Helen Miller
1813 - Margaret
1815 - Janet
1821 - Walter Hamilton
1824 - Robert
(all Kilsyth)
I've tried checking up on Thomas and Robert on the early censuses but so far I don't see them - very odd

Again Gadget, thanks for the prod... I found the marriage right here in New Brunswick... as they were listed in the 1881 census as being born in Scotland while their children were born in N.B., I assumed... (I know never assume!) ... and I was going on the assumption that since there was such a long history of the Livingston(e)'s in Kilsyth that there would be all those wonderful connections... so Robert becomes the next mystery...
Because it may be of interest for you to know 'the rest of the story'... I'm researching Colin Hamilton Livingston(e) (the 'e' seems to be a choice thing?) who was the first president of the boy scouts of America... and summered in my neighbourhood on the St John River at Carters Point. The enclosed is the summer home he built... and where he entertained many of his American friends.
