I can relate to a lot of the same....
But what about when you hear someone's surname, do you ever wonder about the origins of the name? I do it all the time; my ears prick up if it's a name I've seen in records before. I sometimes wonder if that person's ancestors knew mine.
Oh yes, I'm addicted alright!

Darren

I can relate to most of the above, my partner works back-shifts at the weekends so I'm up long before him and off out......he always manages to find me when he gets up though - in the huge Tomnahurich Cemetery.  ;)

You know you're addicted to Genealogy when.........You're speaking to offspring number 5 and call him by his 4 siblings names then the dogs name before you finally manage to hit on the correct one...........but you can reel off all your descendants names back to the early 1800's, their spouses names, their offspring's names, their parents names and all their aunties and uncles names - without pausing for breath!  ;D
