Spending a few hours yesterday researching the exact location of a row of houses in Old Ford Road in Bow called Arthur Terrace, I think it was actually 2 blocks, one had 2 houses and the other was 3 houses on the main road, next to another terrace. Well all this research helps others who may find ancestors from the same place or Old Ford Road.

When looking as some of the photos of Cilla Black, yelling out that she married in the church where my Gtx3 grandparents married.  ::)

I even research parents and their movements. They are your closest ancestors.

... you (thoroughly) research your relatives' relatives  ;D

I'm picking up research on my Danish uncle (married to my mother's sister) and his family started over 30 years ago when he was alive to update his daughter who is interested.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Maybe we need to start a support group.

My name is Darren, and I am a genealogy addict.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.
