I know I am addicted for several reasons 1) more interested in family research than research for my Degree 2) if I spend more than two minutes away from my laptop I have to check my email as soon as i get back to it incase some long lost relative has contacted me via ancestry or some helpful person on here has found info on what feels like my 100th request! 3) you persuade yourself to pay the £23 for a cert just to have it a few days early! 4) you've forgotten you ever had friends and have just replaced them with dead ancestors! 5) Start researching other peoples trees just to get the hit because my own trees have a lot of brick walls which 6) sends you into a mini depression!
The list goes on...but i have to check my mail lol

P.s. i also know i am addicted because i read all 10 pages of other peoples why i am addicted, and got excited when i read someone was buying a microfiche reader which gave me an idea! And when you have asked your relatives to buy you parish records for your birthday and christmas presents!
