1841 census look up pls - Austen

Hi to all reading this.  Would someone be kind enough please to check the 1841 census for me, most likely Rolvenden for a Mary B Austen.  She was a widow by then and was born c1797 Brenchley, Kent.  Can't find a death record as yet so am trying to narrow the time frame down through census records.

She had a son Joseph b1816 but he married a Sophia in 1838 In Tenterden.  Is that any help?

I have searched long and hard, but cannot locate her, I hope she is not the one born 1796 not in county residing at the Asylum in Shoreditch though!

One further thought, as she was still young have you looked for a marriage?

Maybe she went a little loopy after her husband died 2 months after she had their only child Joseph in Sept 1816 ....  I have her marrying Joseph in July 1816 and him dying Nov 1816 [both in Rolvenden].

sorry that looks confusing but both husband and son were named Joseph

I've got Austen's but a different family. Often miss transcribed as AustIN. Have you tried looking with the alternative spellings?

I'm still not sure how you know Mary WALKER was born in Brenchley if you haven't found her on any census thus why they can't be the Joseph and Mary AUSTEN living in Rolvenden 1841 and 1851 as I can only see the one marriage in that area for a Joseph AUSTEN to a Mary (WALKER) see also http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=299149.0 which I have just updated with a possible baptism lead for their grandson "Frederick AUSTEN".

Do you have a date/place of burial for Joseph AUSTEN (husband of Mary WALKER)?
