Hi Emzy, I'm afraid I know nothing of the Virtues & turinis, as I was just looking up some bits for Susan, but it seems that she hasn't been on line since sept 2011.
All the information that I found I put on line, but if there is anything else that you wish to know from Bermuda, I will try and find out for you.

hi ronniebear, i just replied to the post as its my family she was asking about, leila turini is my nan and harold virtue is my dad.... i dont need any information on the family as ive got everything i need to know, thankyou for your fast reply....:)

ivy theresa virtue is up with the other virtues on the board... fred virtue was her father. he was my dads grandad.... his son was born a few years after ivy so isnt on the board is name was harry or harold thats ivys younger brother which is my grandad... which makes fred virtue my great grandad   there stands a statue of fred virtue in a museum in bermuda they are from hamilton in bermuda.

leila turini is my grandmother born 1st august 1901 harry john is my grandfather...we have carried the family name leila on with a sister and a niece. my nan leila died in 1992 her husband harry died at quite a young age i believe.. leila and harrys children was virginia,june harry and harold( harry and harold are two differnt names in bermuda)

hi my grandmother Lvy Harry Victue sister named her two Gordon&Harry after her bothers. Looking for information on Robert Virtue know he died in 1853 of yellow fever.was he born in Bermuda or England and his parents names I think the Virtue came Franc.

Just a possibility for your Robert Virtue. Discharged by purchase from Royal Artillery in 1851.

Per the 1841 census he was a a couple of years younger than the army record suggests - aged 12 then so that would fit with age 24 in 1853
