There are links for Bermuda here:
http://www.cyndislist.com/caribbean.htm
Which leads to this site-
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bmuwgw/bermuda.htm

According to a reference book I have, census took place there 1891, 1911, 1921, 1931, 1960. Registrar-General as records (presumably BMD from 1866).

It's quote possible that very little information is available online.

P.S. you are allowed to type the name 'Ancestry.'
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

thanks for that.ive already been on the roots chat one and left messages, but not cyndis list as i didnt think they would do bermuda, ive tried everything i can think of, from what i have read i gathered that they had been census for bermuda but as to where the records are kept??. someone did suggest on ancestry to try the west indies, but just the same , virtually no information. think i need to have a rethink where to go next.

Unfortunately the answer is that there is no significant Bermudian vital records information available to search online.

See http://www.bnl.bm/admin/uploads/Bermuda%20History%204%20Genealogy.pdf for a research guide from the Bermuda National Library.

A good source of vital events in portable form is C.F.E. Hollis Hallett's Bermuda Index 1784-1914: an index of births, marriages, deaths, as recorded in Bermuda newspapers.  You may be able to find someone online who has a copy and is able to do lookups.

im doing this tree for my best freind, oh boy wish i had never started. the info i have as follows:
frederick g virtue b bermuda
his son harold virtue married a leila turini both born bermuda leila in about 1901/2.
they had three children
harold louis virtue b.1926 bermuda died 2004 in liverpool
** virtue
** virtue married a ** briggs believed still living in bermuda
have found some records of them on the passenger lists , but there are a few virtues/ turinis, so bit difficult to connect them without source information. i found a tree on ancestry that im sure is a connection but no reply to my sent message.

**Moderator's Comment: Names of living people aren't allowed to be posted on Rootschat so some details have been removed from this post. If anyone can fill in more recent family details it would be best done by PM (personal message) rather than online.
