I found this the most interesting so far in this series and, unlike many programmes that run to several series, WDYTYA seems to be getting better!
I just wish I could remember to switch it on so I didn't have to rely on iPlayer to catch it!

I also found the sound track terrible, the mix was awful because he is softly spoken the background noise (music ::)) cuts across it.
My family are always joking that I turn the tv up but this was at that level which I find difficult to hear.

I did hear his mum had a heart attack but not much before that as I was fiddling with the sound controls.

Nice man though, he came onto the BBC FH forum a while back when he was looking into the family.

An excellent episode.

The joy of of it being about such a lovely and intelligent man was the icing on the cake. In complete contrast to Jeremy Clarkson's which may have been a good episode, I just couldn't concentrate on it as he irritated me with almost every sentence.  ;D

So gald it was not just me who had problems with the 1st few minutes of this programme.

With regards as to who WE would like to see on this show, I would imagine that they contact lots of people who, believe it or not, actually turn down this golden opportunity!!!!   Mad or what?

Would aslo love to know how many they have on their shelves that have been made but not yet scheduled for showing.  We know that the Kevin Whately episode was not shown for I think 2 series.

There's a lot of judgement of the individuals whose family history is researched. If it was me I would think twice.

I really enjoyed this episode and it certainly caught my attention when I heard Rev. Hodge was one of those that drowned from the Royal Charter... two of my own relatives died in the same tragedy.
