St. Stephen's --- PHILLIPS, William Morrish
« on: Sunday 08 August 10 16:07 BST (UK) »
Hello all!  This group has been wonderful to me before so I approach with a request that I know is not the clearest.

I have been stumped by my Phillip(p)s family for over a year now, so I am reviewing all of my documents and people to start over again.

My need is a birth/baptism for William Morrish PHILLIPS, born abt 1820 and he lists his birth place as St. Stephen's in the census records for 1851, 61, and 71 with his wife, Grace Jacket Phillips.  THey married and i have the record of that from 1846 in St. Kew after Banns.

He does not tell which St, Stephens though.

I come from the Phillipps line from St. Minver --- one of three I believe that all have multiple Nicholas Phillips in them.  I have good information and would be happy to share more if it would help.

Any help with this request would be wonderful!

Thank you in advance!

Scott Phillips

I checked the marriage details and his father was Thomas, from the family search pilot site this might be a good one although William doesn't have a middle name on the baptism record

8 Nov 1818 William Phillips St Stephens in Brannel ( 1 mile from St Stephen) parents Thomas & Jenefer
