COMPLETED - Yorkshire War Graves

If any Roots chatters are in the vicinity, of any of the following Cemeteries, I would appreciate any assisitance in obtaining a photograph of the grave headstones, as part of my research.

AIREBOROUGH (GUISELEY) CEMETERY
HEIGOLD. JOHN, 3663556 - Sec. A. Grave 339. - COMPLETE THANKS TO PJS12
The son of Percy and Cathrine Susan Heigold and husband of Gertrude Heigold, of Guiseley.  Private Heigold was a native of Sheffield, where he lived having got married in September 1938 to Gertude Burden.  Enlisting with the South Lancashire Regiment, Private Heigold served with the 2nd/4th Territorial Battalion, which was involved in the Defence of the coastal area of Kent.  Private Heigold died at Folkstone whilst on active service on the 5th October 1942, aged 24.

COTTINGHAM CEMETERY
STATHER, DAVID ST PATRICK WHITTICK, 65335 - Sec. A. Grave 260. - COMPLETE THANKS TO STEVEJW
Born in Sculacoates in the early part of 1915, David St Patrick Whittick, was the son of of Charles and Jennie Ada Stather (Nee Richardson).  In mid the mid 1930’s David joined the Territorial Army, where he was posted to the East Riding Heavy Brigade of the Royal Artillery, where he served as a Gunner.  In June 1935 he was promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, and then to the rank of Lieutenant in June 1938.  After the start of the war he was transferred to the 545 Coast Regiment, possibly serving in the Grimsby and North West areas of England.  Having met Zena Lester, who is believed to have been born in Goole, the couple married at Widnes in 1940, where it is thought they lived for a period of time.  Promoted to Captain, David died on the 5th June 1942 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire whilst on active service, aged 25

LEEDS (LAWNS WOOD) CEMETERY
WALSH. SAMUEL WESTHEAD, T/3651882 - Sec. 3. Grave 44. - COMPLETE THANKS TO PJS12
The son of Joseph and Jane Anne Walsh and husband of Lilian Walsh, of Bramley, Leeds. Samuel Walsh originally enlisted with the South Lancashire Regiment, before transferring to the Royal Army Service Corps, where he served as a driver until his death whilst on active service on the 29th January 1944, aged 29 five years after his marriage to Lillian Woolmore

REDCAR CEMETERY
MCGETTRICK. KENNETH, 3655798 - Plot R. Row 1. Grave 3.
Born on the 5th May 1919, at New Ferry Birkenhead, the son of Michael and Ada Ann McGettrick, Private McGetterick enlisted with the South Lancashire Regiment serving with the 2nd/4th Battalion on Coastal Defence Duties, until his death at Cleveland whilst on active Service on the 17th July 1942, aged 23.
SHARLSTON (ST. LUKE) CHURCHYARD EXTENSION[/b]
CHALKLEY, ISAIAH,4748523 - Row D. Grave 43. - COMPLETE THANKS TO PJS12
Originally enlisting with the York and Lancaster Regiment, Lance Corporal Chalkley, was a resident of Wakefield and the son of William and Annie Chalkley, of Sharlston Common.  Posted to the South Lancashire Regiment he served with the 1st/4th Territorial Battalion, whom he was serving with at the time of his death on the 5th April 1944

Which cemetery is the person in, as there are two next to each other, if my memory is correct one if for RC and one for C of E, I may be wrong one that mind, but after school holidays I will be free to do the photo for you, unless some one else goes sooner for you

Jane, with a bit of searching, ive found out that it is the C of E Cemetery.  The headstone is a Standard CWGC headstone.

BAKER. JOSEPH, 3657792, PRIVATE, Pioneer Corps, - Sec. A. Grave 665. COMPLETE THANKS TO NUTTY1966
Husband of Isa Rebecca Baker, of Middlesbrough.  Died 4th March 1945, aged 28, whilst on active service.
