Hello.  I am the grand-daughter of Eric Stanley Hilsden born around 1892 in High Wycombe.  His father was Harry Hilsden a  Millwright.  Looking for anyone else who is a relative.  My grandfather and his whole family moved to Canada in the early 1900s.  I am new to this site.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you

Sheri

Hi Sheri

I am a Hilsden, and your line would be connected to me.  My great grandfather was Sidney Hilsden, and his twin sister was Selina Hilsden.  She moved to Canada, and married her first cousin, also a Hilsden, who I believe was a brother of Eric Stanley.  I need to check all this, as I haven't looked at my tree for a while!  I have been in contact with a lot of relatives in Canada, which has been very exciting!

I'll get back to you with more - I do have a private tree on Ancestry though, so if you give me your user name on Ancestry (if you have one) I can add you so that you can view it.

Hi Daisy Loo.   So happy that you got back to me so soon.  I don't have an account at Ancestry.  Would you be able to email me the family tree?  I'm very interested and also interested in the others you are in contact with in Canada.  I don't know much about my great Uncle Harold, I know a little more about Norm.  I went to his funeral in Alberta and met some of his family there many years ago.

Please let me know about the tree and I can send you my email address.  Oh and where do you live?

Sheri
