New base unit
« on: Saturday 07 August 10 12:46 BST (UK) »
Hi Chatters
I am looking to purchase a new base unit PC. I don't need a monitor or anything else just the base unit. I'm looking for something with plenty of RAM and large hard drive. I would like to upgrade to windows 7 but not sure which version is the best. Any recommendations as to what to look for would be greatly appreciated.
regards panda

It looks like the Home Premium edition 64 bit according to this:

If you buy a PC that does not 8gb of RAM then you can always buy more.

This link will take you to Mesh computers.

The elite Atx750 should handle anything that you throw at it.

There are other companys such as Dell that will offer good Base units.

I've not dealt with either firm so I can't advise you on their customer satisfaction.

It all depends on what you want it for and the price you want to pay.

I'm lucky as my 10 year savings plan matures in October so Its time to treat myself so the budget is not too limited. I would like something that reliable good quality and will not start slowing down as soon as you start to load stuff onto it. That's why I would like something that's worth investing in.
Any suggestions? ;D ;D

PS the Windows Premium edition sounds good thanks downside

I have bought three computers from Mesh and been very happy with all of them...

Very helpful and if you push they may give a discount  :o :o
