Hi John,

There is no record of a birth of Elsie May PALMER at 'staffordshirebmd'
but there is a record of a birth for Elsie May Palmer at 'southderbyshirebmd'
b. 1914. The year is a little bit out but could be a relative ! !

in 1911 census lily (mother) was 20, so must have had Elsie when she was about 16yr. Lily had a second child in 1909 also born Burton-on-Trent, I have birth cert:of second child still, single, domestic servant. I think I will send for birth cert: saying mother's name is LILY PALMER, if not it will not cost so much.
LILY'S was born Henley-in Arden, living with parents in census.
The family were strict roman catholics
