« on: Wednesday 04 August 10 15:45 BST (UK) »
Looking for a John BROADBENT of Halifax who is not the Ag labourer in the 1841 census. This John was a weaver or possibly a Cloth Dresser, born c.1775-80. Eldest s. William born c.1803 (don't know where) and youngest s. John b.1818 in Sowerby.

I'm in Australia, and can't find anything online. Can anyone help please?

Hi Gareth,
There is a William Broadbent christened 17/04/1803 Halifax parish church,
Father John, Innkeeper.
this is the only one in the Halifax parish church that matches your dates and parentage,
Sowerby St Peters would be the nearest church for christenings.
If you P M me i will send you all the Broadbent's marriages for the time frame you are looking for from Halifax parish Church.
Regards,
Andy
